Spring, summer, autumn, and winter,
I like them all!
Children can enjoy the four seasons with unstructured play using their own ideas. At our kindergarten, we value children playing outside all year round. When the weather is nice, we plan to play outdoors.
CloseThe abundant nature is our garden.
Living creatures and the ecosystem are our friends.
Children find their “work” from unstructured play in nature. The forest provides endless information. Our senses are stimulated by exploring the forest’s colours, shapes, scents, temperature, and humidity. While having a good time, our goal is to create and maintain a rich forest as a community that will connect to future generations.
CloseWhat are we going to play today?
We use our “imagination” and set challenges on a daily basis. It is crucial for children to follow their inborn drives to play, take risks, and explore on their own. Hiding and climbing anywhere they desire to. Supporting a safe environment for the children to freely play and explore is very fulfilling and rewarding for everyone.
CloseI am going to eat here today!
Children decide the amount of food and where they want to eat. The lunches are made in-house with real and safe ingredients and seasonings. Soy sauce is made by the traditional brewing method and broths are prepared to keep nutrients and the original flavours intact.
CloseToday, the stairs outside
will become the audience seats!
Various events and social gatherings will likely take place in the backyard. A variety of events will be planned, for example, firewood splitting and harvesting. Split firewood and harvested vegetables from our own backyard garden will be used to enjoy a barbeque together.
